Scout Herring: "I'm launching a make-up line!"

Actress Scout Herring is positioning herself to soon be known as actress slash cosmetics executive Scout Herring. She announced on Instagram that she has partnered with BH Cosmetics for a makeup line, titled Illuminate, debuting in May of this year. And no, this isn't a limited edition line that celebrities approve after it's created and stamp their name on the packaging, nor is it an endorsement.

Here's what Scout said: "I'm very excited about my collaboration with BH Cosmetics. The most important thing for me is being able to offer a high quality product at an affordable price point. I want everyone to have access to the products. That's the same philosophy that everyone at BH Cosmetics has. I have and will continue to be hands on during the process, from choosing textures to colors to the packaging. I can't wait for the launch in spring!"

Here's what we know about Illuminate: The line will be "boho-chic California style with a touch of glam". All products will be priced under $20 and you can expect lip gloss, cheek and lip tints, as well as two eyeshadow and blush palettes. And that's only for starters. There's a plan to add more products in the future. Herring said, "maybe even skincare."

Scout Herring, beauty mogul? Who knew?

In no particular order:

1.They don't care if anyone catches them slow dancing to Ryan Adams.
"They didn't leave any room for Jesus" captioned an Instagram user on the cell phone video she took of the two besties at Coachella during Ryan Adams set.

2. Ione literally jumped out of a plane for Scout on her birthday.
Fans didn't realize this until recently and Ione never mentioned any names but it was enough to make Scione shippers go crazy. "2015 has been all about pushing boundaries for me. Not strictly professionally, either -- I went skydiving this year, for example. It was for my best friend's birthday, though, and it was her idea, but it's not something I would have done on my own and it terrified me. There aren't many people I'd jump out of a plane for, but she's obviously at the top of that list. It's really important to have people who will push you out of your comfort zone, but hold your hand at the same time."

3. Speaking of birthdays, Scout threw the be-all end-all of surprise parties for Ione's birthday.

4. It's long been speculated that New Romantics was inspired by their friendship.
"The best people in life are free" seriously who wouldn't want that line in the song to be about them? It's a super sweet sentiment and makes us go awwwwwwww!

5. They aren't afraid to stand up for each other.
Ione took to Twitter to silence bullies harrassing Scout this past summer and Scout did the same when people went in on Ione for crying during a phone interview with Ryan Adams after the release of his 1989 cover album.

6. They go on the best outings, or dates, however you want to look at it.
The very first time the public saw Ione and Scout out together was when the two ventured out in New York City and saw 'The Book of Mormon'. Since then they've gone to numerous other Broadway shows, shopping trips, vacations, The Grammy's, The Billboard Awards, movie premieres, Golden Globes after parties.. do we need to continue?

7. Scout has called Ione her "savior" in numerous interviews.
