Did anyone else notice how happy Des looked in the pictures dancing with Lila O? After seeing those, you seriously can't believe that he's happy with Scout. Or that they're even real. It's all a big fake stunt because Hollywood doesn't believe in letting people see the true and real love stories. I'm still piecing together why Des would agree to the absurdity of it all but it must be because of something included in his first Twilight contract that he was never able to get out of. I bet he's being held against his will. Scout gets that gaudy ass ring on her finger and that's all that bitch cares about. You see it in every paparazzi picture that gets taken of her. Des wouldn't even buy something so ugly. How do we rescue him?

    Allure reviews Scout's make-up line!

And lest you think that this is just another one of those celeb-backed lines that, you know, sucks, we got our hands on the entire collection—which includes cheek tints, lip glosses, and eye-shadow palettes—and tested them out for ourselves. And trust me, they're good.

First up: the cheek and lip tints. The formula feels slightly waxy on your skin, like a superhydrating lip balm, and leaves a dewy sheen wherever you blend it. Its pigmentation is also pretty subtle, so you get a natural-looking wash of color, rather than a harsh, unblendable stain. Another awesome factor: the color selection. There are only six colors, but because the hues include orange-based melons (best for olive skin), blue-toned berries (great for fair or deep skin), and brownish mauves (for tan-to-medium skin), almost everyone can mix and match these.

Illuminate also features six glosses, with colors ranging from iridescent nudes to shimmery pinks. These glosses aren't quite at Juicy Tubes–level stickiness, but they're still a gloss, so they've got some tackiness to them. Just keep your hair away from your mouth. You know, like you did during the entirety of 2001 to 2003.

Last up in the collection are two eye-shadow and blush palettes, Night Goddess and Beach Goddess. Both contain a mix of matte and shimmery shadows, with Beach Goddess's peaches and mauves geared more toward soft, nude looks and Night Goddess's plums, browns, and blacks combined for darker, smokier finishes. If you need to pick just one, though, I'd base it on your skin tone rather than what each palette offers. Each shadow in Night Goddess has cool, blue undertones, which pair well with fair and deep skin tones, while Beach Goddess has warm, reddish undertones, so they're best for those with tan, olive, and medium skin tones. Both are gorgeous, pigmented, and easy to blend.

Herring's line isn't out until May, though, so just keep rereading this blog to quell your excitement, and keep your eye on Illuminate Cosmetics for updates.
